You spin around inside what feels like like a huge whirlpool, but no
color is present. You spin around and around for what feels like hours
until suddenly you hear a popping sound. You suddenly find yourself
looking at a teacher standing at the front of a high school classroom.
"The American Civil War......", he drones on. Even though you expected to be thrown into some crazy situation when you found out you were jumping in on a new life, nothing really prepared you for this. A girl giggles and leans into your ear, "Are you ready for the big game tomorrow night, Vicki? This is your chance to shine!" Not really knowing what she's talking about, you feign enthusiasm and give the biggest smile you can back to her. She smiles back and giggles again. What have I gotten myself into?, you wonder, looking at your notebook, which is covered with little sketches of hearts and stars. You manage to make it through the history class (which, fortunately, finishes off the day) and find out from the other girls that you have cheerleading practice that afternoon. You reluctantly walk into the girl's restroom and look in the mirror to check yourself out... If you had seen this girl before you would have said that she was a total babe. Her cute face has blue eyes, beautiful lips, and two blond pigtails from the side. Long, beautiful, golden hair that, even when put up goes nearly to your waist. Her figure is a perfect hourglass. Needless to say, she would stand out in any crowd, certainly as a teenager. She is dressed in a pink polo shirt and white skirt with white sandals. She definitely looks like the perfectly sculpted beauty that you expected from all the fame, wealth, and affluent neighborhood. She is definitely even more beautiful than the picture even portrayed. Missing your old life, but knowing that, if you can't go back, you might as well be young, rich, and beautiful, you head off the the girl's locker room to get dressed. You find a locker covered with pink hearts that earlier would have made you queasy, but which you now find kind of cute. It has "Vicki" written on it in marker with bubbly girly writing. You use the combination, which you somehow instinctively know, to pull out your uniform. It consists of a somewhat short, sleeveless top trimmed with gold and blue, a ruffled skirt with similar coloring, and some blue bloomers. You slip out of your clothes and into the uniform, surprisingly becoming more comfortable with your new situation. You walk down the hall toward the football stadium.
