The Black Void - Episode 6017

You're a simple gal. You don't really need anything fancy. You find a job
as a waitress at a small diner. There is not much money to be made, but
you get generous tips to get by. The people that frequent are very nice,
mostly older men and women just coming by for some coffee. Life is simple
and you are happy enough. One day,however, a troubling young hooligan
comes bursting into the diner. "Please! Hide me!", he shouts, not scared but with urgency. Something in you decides you'd better help the young man. No sooner do you hide him beneath the counter than three large men in suits and sunglasses enter the diner. "'Scuse me ma'am, have you seen a young boy in a brown leather jacket come in here?", they ask. You act confused and tell them that you haven't but you'll certainly tell them if you do and ask for their number. They ignore this, look around a bit and leave. You look under the counter to check on the boy only to find that he's been looking up your skirt! You kick him as hard as you can with the tall heel of your shoe. "Ouch!", he says, rubbing his forehead. "Why you ungrateful little pervert! And after I saved you!" You force an apology out of him and demand to know what's going on. He seems hesitant to tell you but finally relents and spills the beans. He informs you that his father worked in a government storage facility storing bizarre artifacts, but never returned home one day. Desperate to find his father, the boy, who reveals that he is 16 years old, broke into the facility, but all he could find on his desk was a map detailing a province of India. He was caught by guards and that is when he met you. "So, what's your name, lady?" You feel annoyed. "Lady? I'll have you know that I'm not that much older than you. The name's Rachel." "Rachel, I'm Max. Nice to meetcha! Would you want to come with me to India to find my father. I'm rich! I'll give you anything you want!"
