"Very well," the Moff says, "surely no trained assassin could be so clumsy in her work. My queen, you shall ride beside me and lead us to glorious victory!"

The soldiers lead a large white horse to you bearing the same emblem as the Moff's horse. The two of you ride in front of the few men he brought with him toward the meeting, leading the way back to the camp. "As soon as the kingdom is ours, we shall be married, and you will be my queen. First, however, we will need the documents and maps allowing us to infiltrate the kingdom's weakness. May I see them now?"

Apparently, these documents were an essential part of the plan. Annabelline probably had them when you killed her, but would he really believe that the so-called assassin really stole the documents from you in this situation. If you were really the princess in this situation, you certainly would have taken this important information back immediately after you killed her. You wouldn't have forgotten it.

  1. Pull your blade out quickly, kill the Moff, and get out of there as fast as you can on your horse.
  2. Tell him that you were so distraught by the assassination attempt that you must have lost it at the hut.
  3. Although it totally goes against the image you need to project in this situation, play up the "sad girl" routine and cry; maybe even make up a story.
  4. Tell him you memorized the plan and decided not to sneak out the documents in order to maintain absolute secrecy of the plan.
  5. A group of 12 knights rushes quickly at you.
