Under Siege

The Black Void - Episode 5915

"Princess Annabelline!", she shouts, pounding the door unrelentingly. "We must escape now!" Unsure of what is going on, you open the door to see. "They've arrived! The kingdom is under siege! We must follow the plan we discussed and get you to safety! They will try to take you!"

By the sense of urgency and the look of panic in her eyes, you take it that this is serious. Your life or at least quality of life is on the line. You quickly hurry to change out of your nightgown and slippers as she fiddles with the secret passage's door. So this is why the princess left me here: so she could escape from all this! She must have known this was coming! She may even be working with the enemy!

Matilda notices you fiddling with your nightie. "There's no time! You will have to find something more appropriate later! Into the passageway with you!", she exclaims. The two of you scramble into the passageway and seal the entrance, hiding it from outside view. As you quietly creep along the passage (fortunately for you, Annabelline's graceful form moves along much more quietly than your own), you can hear the shouts of soldiers above. You realize that you must be hidden far below ground now.

  1. You follow the pathway for what seems like hours, until you finally exit in an old woman's hut.
  2. You walk along a good while, until the two of you arrive at another black void.
  3. The soldiers find the passage, storm along, and find you.
