The Black Void - Episode 5893

You hear a loud banging on the door and a female voice calling from the
other side. You immediately recognize it as Annabelline's voice. In a total
panic you are instantly on your feet, your kimono flowing behind you. You
frantically run to the nearest closet, trying to find something of use. In
what initially appears to be just an ordinary closet appears a black void
hovering, filling up almost the entire closet. "I have no choice. I'm as
good as dead if I stay here.", you say, jumping into the void, "I just want
to go home....." You black out for an indeterminate amount of time.
You awaken to the sound of an autumn breeze and sunlight coming in through Japanese-style windows. You look around and find that your head is laying on a traditional Japanese pillow and a bed that is laying on the floor. You can see that you have black hair now, so you feel pretty confident that you are no longer Annabelline. You sit up and see that you are wearing a plain white kimono now, tied simply at the waist. You also notice the two breasts when you look down at your chest and can't help but feel a little disappointed that you're still a woman. Oh well, at least you're away from Annabelline. The room is bare except a few small scrolls and paintings on the wall with Japanese writing that you can't even begin to read. You see a small vanity in the corner with a red ornamental East Asian-style mirror. You hold it up to yourself and gasp at what you see. As you look at your face and your body, you realize that what you are looking at is Annabelline, only modified to be Asian. Replacing Annabelline's fair-complexion and light-colored hair, you find that your hair and skin colors have changed to become Japanese. As you view your face, you can vaguely recognize it as Annabelline's, although, again, with very Japanes features, as your body has adapted to fit in with what is apparently a new world. It seems that there have been no further changes to the rest of your body, as your rather voluptuous figure (your well-endowed chest, small waist, and wide hips) seems to have remained intact, minus, of course, the change in skin tone. What you figure has apparently happened, due to your female form and Japanese attire, is that the black void meant to send you home, as you were thinking about, but it got it all wrong! It apparently assumed that you were a woman seeking her way back to some point in Japan's past. You hear a knock at your door. Startled, but curious to see who has rescued you, you say, "You may come in." You are further alarmed at what comes out as you speak. You have grown accustomed by now to having a female voice, but what you heard come out did not alarm you for that reason. You were speaking in Japanese! As a matter of fact, when you actually tried to read them, the scrolls with Japanese text on them were totally understandable to you. The door slides open and a man wearing a male kimono steps into the room. He has his hair in a topknot, muscular arms, and a small mustache and beard. He speaks to you in Japanese, which you can now understand: "I am greatly relieved to find that you have awakened young lady. We found you lying on the ground on the road back from Kyoto and you were in terrible shape. Your sword was bent to pieces, and your kimono was unusual. We of the Iga clan found you and brought you back to our compound." Recognizing the name, you realize that you are in the care of a ninja clan of the sixteenth century! He continues, "Your injuries will all heal and you are free to leave, er, would you mind if I asked your name?" You think back to all the anime you ever watched and blurt out the first female name that comes to mind. "M..Megumi," you stammer "Yo...shi..no Megumi.", you say, coming up with random syllables and suddenly realizing at the end that you must present your surname first in this culture. You aren't really sure if the surname even qualifies as an actual surname, but he doesn't seem to care one way or the other. "Ah, well, Megumi-chan, you are a very young girl but seem to have much potential. If you are interested, we have decided to allow you to join us. If not, you are free to leave.", he says.
