Bob decides it would just be so much easier to borrow the car. So the gets
in and quickly drives away. But the path he came on is narrow, and they are
trees and bushes everywhere. The jungle is no place for a car. Soon he
comes to a place where he just can't drive anymore. Determined, he backs up
and starts to turn around and look for another way out... Wait, he didn't
hit the gas, did he? No, he didn't! So why is the car rolling backwards?
Bob looks out the window to find the car starting to roll backwards down a
huge hill. He tries to switch gears and brake, but the car is barreling
down too fast for him to stop! He crashes over bushes and rocks and small
trees; animals leap out of the way to avoid being crushed! Bob yells and
hangs on to the steering wheel desperately, still trying to brake. Then,
crash! The car slams into a tree, jolting Bob in his seat. Bob sits a
moment, trying to calm down and think. He tries to open the smashed door,
but it is stuck. So he hurls his weight at it and it simply falls off the
car. He gets out and surveys the car. It's totaled. I'm so screwed, he
thinks. I stole and wreaked a car! Now I really have to get out of here...
But other than the trail of destruction he made, the jungle is too thick to
see through. He looks up the hill he fell down. It's much too steep to
climb up again. He's going to have to walk through the dark unpredictable
forest. Which way should he go?
