You and Rita are both paralysed with surprise for a moment. Where did that robot come from? There was nowhere in the restroom that could possibly have hidden anything that size. Did it walk through the wall?

"Please return to the restroom for protection and demolition," the robot says. It seems that they are all singing from the same hymn sheet, as the saying has it.

Recovering from her paralysis, Rita takes her taser out of her bag.

  1. It works just as well on this robot as it did on the other.
  2. But this time, when she uses it nothing happens.
  3. But the robot grabs it before she has a chance to use it.
