Sarah jumps back.
"Oh no!" hisses Amergin. "Good and bad news. Bad news is, the werewolves are close and we must flee."
"What the hell is the good news?!" whispers Sarah.
"Side effect of the healing medicines, since they are so close you are going to gain some of their features and be able to tell where they are. Fortunately it is not reversible. With this 'telepathy' we might have a chance."
Sarah wanted to cry out this was nonsense when every molecule of her being screamed out that danger was coming from the north.
The duo run south, find a rocky ramp and then huddle deep in a cave behind a roaring waterfall.
"The water..." said Sarah, not sure if she had read this in a book or was reading the wolf-hive-mind "should...shield us from their noses."
Indeed, the wolves were moving farther away.

  1. But Amergin had suffered a nasty scratch from a poison plant embedded in the rock wall.
  2. Nothing much happens. They stay the night.
  3. They safely stay the night but Sarah wakes up half-wolf.
  4. The wolves get closer one hour later.
  5. Sarah meets one of her Santa-work colleagues, a really awesome art student/Starbucks manager named Leslie Anders-Smith.
