You really don't want to go through the wedding ceremony with the Grand Moff, and this may be your last chance to escape. Furthermore, you may never get a better chance to kill Maggie, after which your troubles will be - if not exactly over - at least much reduced.

So you slash with the Zephyr Fang at the witch in what you hope will prove to be a fatal blow and then, without even waiting to see the result, turn and dash out of her cottage using the back door.

Only to almost collide with the real Annabeline, who had been about to make a belated entrance through that same back door! "What the Hell are you doing here?" she gasps. "And in my bridal outfit too."

Assuming that you have succeeded in killing the witch, then slaying Annabeline would get rid of most of your remaining troubles. So you swing your blade at her.

  1. You deal her a mortal wound.
  2. Though she is unarmed, she skips nimbly out of the way.
  3. It's not so easy to kill a witch. Suddenly you find yourself paralysed. Maggie has cast a spell on you from behind.
