After a couple of minutes, you stop. "That's enough," you say. "Maggie will be getting impatient, and from what she said it won't be too long before the Grand Moff arrives. Now what should I wear?"

"None of those," the creature says, with a contemptuous wave at the three outfits that you have just selected from the clothing on the rack as your leading candidates. [4831]

"Then what?" you ask.

"The outfit that Annabeline was planning to wear - and I must admit that she is a pretty good judge - is that one there." It points at one of the outfits spilling out of the dresser. (It seems that untidiness is yet another of Annabeline's vices.)

You pull the outfit fully out of the half-open drawer, and for the first time can see it properly.

1. Yes, you can wear that without any qualms.
2. You remember that Maggie had suggested that your dressing like a warrior maiden, but more feminine, might appeal to the Grand Moff. It seems that Annabeline had been thinking along similar lines.
3. You gulp. "I am not wearing that," you say. "Your choice. But Annabeline knew what she was about."
4. It occurs to you that, if the Grand Moff will be here soon then the real Annabeline must have intended to be here sooner. Perhaps you should try to escape through the window.
