The slashing of your insides forces you to leave the water, even with
clothes that are only partially wrung out. You put on your still moist gown
and undergarments and cry beside the water. Blood spills, further staining
your already nasty and stinking clothes. You would try to plug it up with
something, but you're afraid of infection, which would probably mean death
here. It hurts so bad! Worse than anything you've ever felt. You feel such
a flood of emotions, but incredible sadness and anger, as you wonder if
this is how you'll be stranded your whole life. You stumble to the road. There you find a woman about thirty years of age with two daughters. "Oh, you poor girl! What has happened to you? Please come to my home for a bath and some clean clothes!"
