"No," Blank gasps, sliding from his chair and falling to his knees. "The
resting ground of the Ancients - disturbed!" "We're still being pulled toward the sun!" Andrews says in shock. "Ooh, its getting hot in here," Zora says, sitting in your lap, sweat beading from her body as she tugs at her soaking-wet T-shirt. You notice that the temperature on the bridge is still normal, even a bit cold if anything. But as the control panel in front of you shows, you are indeed being pulled toward the sun. "How can this be?" you say. "Ha!" Blank says, pointing at the viewscreen, where you can see a tiny, spinning metal mass become clear through the rubble of the planet. "Look! The core of Shub-Niggaruth was artificial! It must have been a high-tech ancient space station merely disquised as a planet! Therein lies the true secret of the Shub!" "Well we have no choice but to destroy it now," Andrews says, punching buttons on his control panel. "What the hell? I cant target it! Its reflecting our targeting system somehow!" "Ohhh," Zora moans. "We're all going to die!" "I could try firing manually, but that's a one in a thousand chance," Blank says. "The Destiny would likely burn out first and explode, and we'd be killed before even reaching the sun." You rub your pounding temples. "If only there was some way we could show them - whoever they are - that we're not a threat..." "Run a white flag?" Hiro chuckles, suddenly stirring. "That's not the pirate way!" "Are you back to normal now, dear?" Zora grins. "Or do I have to bash you again?" "There's another way," Hiro coughs. "We could reverse our engines and ram directly into the sun. The force of the Destiny's explosion would cause the sun to supernova, creating a black hole that would take us all into an alternate dimension." "You'll have to think harder than that," Blank grunts.
