"Your father has a soft spot for you, Sara. He will not treat with you
harshly. We should be honest with him. He already knows these people came
here about John. Come, we will discuss it with him, together." Don says.
A short while later they both return. "Father was still skeptical, especially in regards to John, but he dosen't like the sound of this criminal Gustav much either. He has granted his permission for us to seek an audience with the King. Isn't that wonderful, Hari?" Sara says delightedly. "Yes, that's good news." I concur. Don makes the arrangements with the Marquess' driver, and we soon set out via guarded coach for Theras. Don is mostly silent while Sara and I make small talk and play with the babies, though he does mention something about getting me a more presentable outfit before our audience with the King. By nightfall we stop at an upscale inn, taking a quiet dinner before retiring to adjoining rooms, one for Don and Sara, and another for me and the twins.
