You lean back in the captain's chair, closing your eyes and rubbing your temples to stave off an oncoming headache. With a crew like this, no wonder Zora was always face down in the vodka..., you think to yourself. You may need a drink yourself if this keeps up

Even at hyperspace speeds, it's a few hours journey to the Shub- Niggaruth system. You wonder just why it's forbidden space anyway, but don't want to ask your crew members and risk setting off Blank or Hiro again. You do have a personal workstation on the armrest of your chair, so you check it for information. Unfortunatley, GF records are sealed, aside from a Class 1 warning that the system is a no-go zone. You shake your head. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all.

A few hours later, Zora stumbles back onto the bridge, sober but hung over. She settles into the first officer's seat and asks what the destination. Upon learning, she responds with a low whistle, then shrugs. "You're the boss." Blank looks like he's about to appeal to her, but keeps his mouth shut.

Moments later, the ship exits hyperspace; You are confronted with:

1. A fairly normal, uninhabited star system - Seems the rumors and warnings were overblown
2. An endless field of wreckage, and further in, several planets that show signs of an ancient civilization, but now blasted into desolate wastelands. What happened here?
3. A group of hostile alien ships.
4. Hiro is engulfed in the heated glow once again. "At last!" he exults. "Awaken, Angle Gods of Shub-Niggaruth! I am your humble servant!"
