I am taken into a another room that has no windows, but has some sort of
blue lighting that simulates daylight. There are several large hutches,
each with a run. As far as I can see, all except one is currently empty.
This one holds a solitary white rabbit I assumed would be Jane. The
telepath said we wouldn't be harmed, so being kept together is a good
start. Yet another thing puzzled me, though. The telepath said that she
encountered a mental block just like with the other one. That would
mean Jane had come through the black void just like I had. One of the soldiers removed me from the cage and lifting the roof of the hutch with Jane inside, placed me surprisingly gently on some straw bedding. The soldiers then left. Jane ran - lolloped? - over. "Are you okay? That woman was sure creepy, wasn't she? I still feel nauseated." "I'm fine. I feel the same, but I don't suppose she can do anything about that." I told her what the woman 'said'. She seemed surprised, but it was pretty hard to tell. "You mean we both came through the black void? And yet we both got turned into bunnies. Do you think the body-snatchers are behind it somehow?" I give the best impression of a shrug as I could, which wasn't saying much. "No idea. Maybe we're in an alternative world where people aren't pulled towards kissing bunnies, so they have to kidnap people from ours in order to exchange bodies." Wild speculation, I knew, but the way things seemed to be turning out, anything seemed possible.
