With an effort, I manage to tear my attention away from Astra. I can't afford to let myself get distracted. I wouldn't want that villainous you to take advantage and seize control of the story again.

I ponder my authorial responsibilities. What should I make happen next? Or should I take things easy, and just let this group of weirdoes get on with doing whatever takes their fancy?

  1. Before long Fred and Astra kiss and make up.
  2. Fred and Astra's quarrel goes from bad to worse. They decide that they want a divorce. And of course they are in the right place to arrange that.
  3. You grab back control again.
