Continuing with James

The Black Void - Episode 271

For all I know, Professor Hoffman might not be available to talk to me. Even if he turned out to be free, would he be willing to speak to a teenage girl? So I decide to carry on talking to James. Fortunately the library seems to be very quiet, so there seems no imminent danger of our being interrupted by someone with a query or wanting to check out a book.

  1. I ask him if everyone here arrived through a wormhole or if some are "natives".
  2. I start to worry about practical things, like where I am going to live and how I am going to support myself. Will I be able to continue my education or will I have to find a job? I ask him about these matters.
