Not being grotesquely stupid, I try and divine if the bar-fly and the dwarf have worked this out beforehand as some sort of ploy. I don't feel they have. I pay 10 gold up front. That secures Donald so he will be put into a coffle and kept until I find the other ten pieces of gold... Somehow. With arrangements to meet in ten day's time back in this tavern, the dwarf leaves and I sit a while longer, in my private world of musings. I need ten more pieces of gold, and I need them fairly urgently...
