I Select My Destination

I briefly consider an alternative: returning to the desert, and trying to seek out the facility that I arrived in when I came through the void. But I can't believe that I am still in the same world. It seems as though I have gone back in time several hundred years at some point, perhaps when I crossed the river. So I fear that searching for the facility would be futile. Besides, would I really want to go back there, having gone to such lengths to escape from it?

"Please take me to Castle De Freydair," I tell Teran.

"Very well," he says.

1. "We'll set off at once. Usman told me that the sooner you were out of the city the better."
2. "It's late. We'll stay here for the night - they have a couple of rooms for hire - and set off in the morning."
3. Just then, someone I recognise enters the tavern.
