The wooden ship has quite an unusual ladder hanging over the side. Jacques, with all his sea-faring experience, does not understand what the ladder is made out of. And it may be the stress but the number of rungs keep ... changing ...

  1. Climb up.
  2. Hail the ship vocally.
  3. Flash the light.
  4. Turn around, head for his home.
  5. Jacques turns around but his home had been replaced by a Community Center.
  6. A strange girl with a black eye clambers down the ladder.
  7. The ladder tries to, and fails to, strangle our hero.
