Thog Wakes Up

Thog the Caveman wakes up from his strange dream. He breathes in the
thick smell of dead sabretooth and it immediately calms down his
perturbed psyche. Boy oh boy, but that was a really screwed up dream, he
thinks. Strange people wearing the skins of impossible beasts living in
caves carved from frighteningly oppressive square mountains.
Thog barely understood anything that he had seen, and less of what he had heard. America? Canada? Varzaid? But it had seemed so real. That's what had really shaken him up. And as he woke up he had still been gripped by the deep conviction that it was all somehow true. Standing up and looking at his prize kill he shook his anxiety away from him. Of course it wasn't real. It couldn't be. And if for no other reason than the idea of a woman becoming President of the U.S.A. was just plain frigging ludicrous!
