Unfortunately, you've never been taught how to de-seed an IV properly.
Instead of removing the tape and then carefully pulling out the catheter,
you
simply yank at the entire contraption. The catheter bends inside her vein
and the girl shrieks in agony, momentarily awake. You pull again and it
comes out, along with copious amounts of blood. The girl falls
unconscious. "Give me the good stuff!" you cry, lapping at the tip of the catheter with your tongue. "Joey, no!" somebody screams. "Call Security!" There is a flash of blinding white light... ...and the room is filled with the dead bodies of men in white coats and orange uniforms. Blood is splattered all over the walls. The girl is sobbing hysterically in a corner. You're not quite sure what happened, but you're still getting the good stuff through the catheter (which is now lodged in your throat) so you don't mind. "I am impressed." you hear Van Buren say on the other side of the door. "You do good work here, Azazelovich. Think Joey is ready for a field run?" "Ahem, no. There are still many more tests and verifications for him to undergo." "I think he's ready." Van Buren says in a far different tone.
