I am tired, sweaty and dusty, and a cool swim seems very inviting. The
nearest human being is most likely back at the facility, and that must be
at least fifty miles away. So I undress and leave my clothes on the bank,
next to my pack. Then I re-enter the water, and start swimming.

Refreshed, I leave the water about fifteen minutes later, and then wait for my body to dry off so that I can get dressed.
-
The light starts to fade rapidly, because the moon is setting. How careless of me not to notice that it was about to do so. How am I to find my clothes - and even more importantly my pack - now?

-
