Troubles always have a silver lining, your grandmother used to say. The ship has developed engine trouble and was forced to land well away from the United Aeronautics Company Spaceport. But it landed right in the middle of Jorge territory.
You and Hiro are sent outside to scout the area, report anything and everything and look for Jorge tracks.
"Odd." you say, as the two of you exit the loading area. "I feel like going a bit nuts."
Hiro looks around. "Me too. Kick over a few rocks, yell at the captain. The Academy, however, did say that ... that sometimes a few people feel this way when going into a new atmosphere."
"This nice little forest has nothing to harm us biologically." you reply, one foot still on the ramp.
"I know, I know, it's just the uniqueness of a new ecosystem..."

  1. Per orders, the both of you head straight back to sickbay.
  2. As expected, the feelings go away. This was detailed in the books too.
  3. The primitive AI in the Medi-Belts detects your wooziness and vocally tells of the Calm-Shots in your packs.
  4. Something on the far end of the ship explodes. You are flung to the ground. Adrenaline causes clarity of thinking.
