for an hour or so, they realised that it seemed to be getting darker
again. Soon it was full night once more.
"Someone must be using very powerful magic," Amergin said. "I wonder what they are trying to achieve." Even in the now dim light, Sarah's keen elfin vision could see that he seemed to be getting younger. That was confirmed when his voice cracked halfway through his remark and finished up an octave higher. He appeared to be no more than thirteen now.

JH (Amergin is described as a "man" when first introduced in ep. 45, so I hit on the idea of his turning fourteen from "above" as it were)
