The gorgon teetered on the edge of the abyss, waving her arms desperately, before managing to regain her balance. Her hair-snakes hissed angrily. "That wasn't very nice," she said accusingly. "I could simply freeze you again and drag you to the Queen, you know."

"Please don't take it personally," Sir Toby said. "It's just that you are working for a wicked sorceress-queen, and I really don't want to make her acquaintance."

"I explained already that I'm only working for her under duress. Now will you promise on your honour as a knight not to try to escape again, or do I have to freeze you?"

  1. Sir Toby promises.
  2. Sir Toby promises, but surreptitiously crosses his fingers. He believes that means that his promise doesn't count.
  3. Sir Toby refuses to promise.
