The tunnel she was in continued to lead upwards, away from the strange vanishing church on the bank of the underground lake. Her suspicion after a while that by now she might have climbed enough to be close to the surface was confirmed when she came to a spot where there were two holes in the tunnel roof, only a few feet apart. Weirdly, a beam of sunlight came in through one, moonlight through the other. What powerful magic could produce such an effect?
