Astra blinked in astonishment. Had she hallucinated the church and her encounter with the priest? Was she going crazy? Or had some powerful enchantment been at work, with who knew what fell purpose? Then she remembered the robe and pair of sandals, which she still carried in one hand. Why hadn't she put them on yet? At least they represented solid evidence that the church had really existed and that she wasn't losing her mind.
