Fred-Hannah soon realized that most of these books were for advanced magic
users, of no use to a beginning sorceress such as herself (especially
when she still wasn't used to thinking of herself as a sorceress). One book, however, caught her eye. It was bright yellow, and bound in a soft yellow leather. Its title was Beginning Spells for the Magically Adept. Eagerly, she took the volume down and settled into the chair to begin reading it. She expected to have to struggle through it - but she read through the first few chapters with surprising ease. It all seems so easy! she thought. Is magic really this simple? Or is it all so clear because I've become a new person? Maybe I really am a sorceress. To her surprise, she found herself growing more comfortable thinking of herself that way. Finally, she reached the last chapter. It was titled, cryptically, WHAT YOU NEED. Fred-Hannah turned the page and gasped to discover:
