Ahead of them stretched a sea of sand, sculpted into dunes by the wind,
and extending as far as
the eye could see. What was strange about the desert was the colour of the
sand - a
pastel shade of green. The desert surrounded them in all directions -
there was no sign
of the door through which they had come. "Well," said Fred, "at least we
are out of the
caverns." "Yes, but what sort of power could send us here like this, and
where are we?
I have never heard of anywhere like this. I fear our troubles may be far
from over."
