Fortunately it exploded outward so Astra was not hurt. She caught a glimpse of the bat, it's shredded corpse dropping away into the fog.
A little bit stunned, Astra listens. All the debris from the ten foot hole in the wall has arced away and fallen...and has not made a sound.
Not made a sound.
Not even thirty seconds later. Just how high up is this place?
And now the fog was leaking in. Even if things didn't further explode, the dampness was going to ruin stuff.

  1. Complain.
  2. Get to fixing. Put the books in those weird secure see-through boxes. Keep the damp out.
  3. A centaur-type man, with the lower-half of a goat, runs in and leaps out the hole.
  4. Stare around in shock (the effects of the explosion has rattled her mentally).
