The Never Ending Quest - Episode 97761

It was, of course, Minestus who had planted the thought in Astra's mind to draw the latch on the box. Before sending off the warrior princess to kill Belboz he had, unbeknownst to her, set up a mental connection, so that he could see and hear what she saw and heard. He had never fully trusted her, in spite of the geas, and he wanted to know if she would betray him. The sequence of events that followed had been most interesting. In particular, he had grudgingly to give Belboz high marks for his transformation of the princess from amazon warrior into sex-bomb.

He could still make use of Astra, even though she had failed to kill Belboz for him. That hadn't really been a surprise; he had always known that the chances of success were slim. So sooner or later he would help her to escape. It might be fun to delay a little, to see how the game would play itself out. On the other hand, that might run the risk that Belboz would sooner or later tumble to what he was doing.

He turned to his advisor, to whom he had relayed what had been going on. "What do you think?" he said. "Should I help her to escape right now, or wait and see what she and Belboz will do next?

  1. "Let her suffer for a little longer," Belinda said with an evil grin. (Yes, one of the sisters whom Astra had been trying to get Minestus to free had betrayed her.)
  2. "Let her escape," Belinda said.
  3. "Let her suffer for a little longer," his advisor said.
  4. "Let her escape," his advisor said.
  5. "Let her escape," Belinda said. "But when she returns here, I want her as my personal slave. Would you do that for me?"
