This becomes quite important the instant that Eddie trips and falls to the concrete face first. With his arms unable to break the fall, Eddie messes himself up pretty badly.

Eddie howls in pain as the police run up to him.

1. Eddie is taken to jail, despite his injuries.
2. Eddie is rushed to the nearest hospital. He is treated and released to the police.
3. Eddie is rushed to the nearest hospital, where the staff refuses to treat him.
4. The cops administer a ferocious beating on Eddie with their nightsticks.
