Unfortunately a thorough search of the church's back rooms failed to turn up any priestly vestments that Astra might have worn. The monastery had perhaps been abandoned so long ago that they had all rotted away. Or maybe the monks had taken them with them when they left.
The light faded away as dusk turned to night, and it was even darker inside the church. Fred lit a few of the church's candles to provide a little light. (Evidently candle-wax and wicks lasted for longer than clothing fabrics.)
