Perhaps Astra being clothed whilst the other slaves were naked convinced potential buyers that she must be a superior sort of slave and hence worth more than the others. Or maybe it was just that she looked fantastic in the tight blue robe. At any rate, whilst the three female slaves who had been auctioned before her had fetched between 100 and 120 gold pieces, she was eventually sold for a phenomenal 370. Astra had conclusively won her argument with Fred as to her value.

  1. At that point, in accordance with his prior agreement with Astra, Fred said that she was worth double that and he wasn't selling her after all.

  3. Failing to resist temptation, Fred betrays Astra and accepts the 370 gold pieces from the successful bidder.
