"Yes. There was a flame and a mist on it at first, but those have gone now. But you can see that it's twice the size that it was, and it's sharper too."

"I should have thought that a sword that big would be more of a hindrance than a help. Anyway, you must destroy it. If Belboz has bespelled it, then it's not safe to have around."

3. As if to prove the truth of Exotica's words, Fred finds himself unable to control his sword arm, and starts cutting off her clothing like Zorro did in his duel with Catherine Zeta Jones' character. (At least, that's Fred's story.)
