The damage caused luck to run in their favor. The Heal command now believed it was to heal them of -bad- luck. The wand blessed them not only with health, but with much equipment, decent clothes, good weapons and bags of holding for everyone. Indeed, Princess Exotica, who had been investigating the dragon's caverns on her own nearby, achieved a major upgrade in her magical skills. Quite naturally, this had caused her to investigate the magical charge and she had found the trio hovering over the wand. Then the wand melted, severely burning Fred's non-dominant hand. Exotica did what she could but with such healing magic being thrown around, she couldn't cast more at this point, for it would be like throwing a stick into a forest. The effect would be lost.
