The naked Astra and Exotica suddenly emerged into the light, confused because the cave system had seemed far less extensive than it ought to be. Their eyes weren't used to daylight, and tears ran down their faces. They had to stop running, as it wasn't safe to continue when for the moment they were almost blind. They hoped that they might have shaken off their pursuer, who thanks to Astra's punch had ceded them a fair start and who hadn't looked all that fit.
"How can the caves have changed so much?" Exotica asked, between pants for breath. "I'm Princess Exotica of Allaria, by the way. I know that you are Princess Astra.
