"Then - you have no memory of being a unicorn?"

"No sir."

"Do you remember who you are - who I am?"

"Oh, I know who I am - my name is Hannah, and I'm a centauricorness. But as for the rest..." She shook her head and flicked her tail. "I'm afraid I have no recollection of who you are, or where this is, or how I came to be here." She looked at him in innocent confusion. "Can you help me?"

Belboz pondered this new development. It appeared that the spell he'd cast had an unintended side-effect - it interacted with the auras of magical beings, and somehow not only further transformed his young subject/captive, but affected her mind, as well.

Belboz knew what he had to do:

1. He tried to cast a spell to undo the side-effect, and return her to being just Hannah.
2. He brought the unicorn back in.
3. He immediately transported her to a nearby settlement of centauricorns.
4. He had to find some other magical creatures and test the theory further.
