The Unicorn Effect

As he watched the two unicorns frolic and play in the cave, he realized the actual fate of the knight-turned-peasant girl-turned unicorn didn't really interest him that much. However, he was miffed that something had affected his spell, and he wanted to find out what it was - and how to correct it. And in any case, it was an intriguing intellectual exercize.

He cast a teleportation spell, sending the male unicorn back to its pen, and waited for the reaction. Almost immediately:

1. The female unicorn reverted to the form of Hannah.
2. The female unicorn reverted to the form of Sir Fred!
3. The female unicorn vanished.
4. Belboz realized that the female unicorn wasn't changing back.
5. The female unicorn transformed into a centauress version of Hannah, but still sporting her unicorn horn.
