The region of hell where boredom is the worst torment turned out to be indistinguishable from the Staircase Room. Not that Fred and Astra were aware of this, never having visited the latter. [At least, not in this thread.]

With nothing else to do, Fred and Astra had sex to relieve the monotony.

  1. They were interrupted by a demon carrying a pitchfork. "You can't do that!" he objected. "It's not boring, and so is against the rules."
  2. The trouble was that after several months of having sex several times a day, even that eventually became boring.
