Belboz decides it's best not to tell this "B'Elanna Torres" how he had
just "created" her from the remains of that idiot knight Fred, but he gave
her an abbreviated, edited version - how a knight had come to fight a
dragon, had been slain, and in attempting to summon a replacement, he had
gotten her instead (Belboz had actually intended to use Fred's Proto-Flesh
to create a servant girl to help keep his cavern straight, but he also saw
no need to bring this up, either). To his discomfort (and annoyance), Torres looked both unimpressed and disbelieving as he told his story. When he finished, she leaned back against his table, and regarded with a half-frown, half-smirk. "So, let me get this straight. You're a magician..." "Necromancer!" "Right. Your buddy got himself killed fighting - a dragon? And then you screwed up a spell to get his replacement, and I wound up here instead?" "That's rather crudely put, but..." Looking annoyed, the woman stood up and said, "Computer, end program!" When nothing happened, Torres repeated the strange command. Belboz looked puzzled - was this girl trying to cast some sort of spell of her own? Now visibly angry, B'Elanna said once again, "Computer, this is Chief Engineer B'Elanna Torres - end program!"
