The Bandits Were Thorough

Vix and Janet hadn't thought that they had anything worth stealing,
unlike some of the other passengers who wore fine clothes and expensive
jewelry. However the bandits had been very thorough. They had taken Vix
and Janet's paltry savings, which they had intended should finance their
start in a new town. They had also taken everyone's outer clothes and
shoes, leaving them in only their underthings. But worst of all, they had
stolen the horses from the coach.
"It's about five miles to the town that we were heading for," Janet said. "I suppose that we had better start walking." "Will you be OK, given your condition?" Vix said anxiously. "I'll be fine. The healers have told me that not too strenuous exercise, such as walking, is actually good for me. Of course I can't go all that fast, so it'll probably take us two or three hours."
