Two Secret Service Agents, who had been stationed on patrol several blocks away, had positioned themselves on the roof of a parked, vetted tourist bus. As the limo speeds by, they leap in. Maxwell, a tall Irishman, judges badly and rolls towards the back, clipping his head and passing out. The other, Johannsen, a wiry black scarred man with blonde hair, clambers towards the front, blows the security glass and presses the hidden 'kill engine' switch. This gives him the control needed to shove Josh's corpse into the road and take over driving himself. The monkeys surge forward and reach into the open rooftop (claw damage had stopped it from closing). Bullets pour out, killing more, driving the horde back. Maxwell tumbles through the vehicle, moaning. The limo leaps out and into a covered garage. Several monkeys slam into the concrete pilings, dying horribly.
