The Seduction of Andrea

As she walked along the path, the creature continued to entreat her to join it and its fellows. It remained just off the path, apparently unable to fly directly above it, but kept pace with her.

Then she made the mistake of gazing into the two of its eyes that were looking directly at her. A glassy expression came over her face and she started to climb over the railing that lined the path.

1. But evidently the master was aware of what was happening, as for a second time she felt a piercing pain in her right thigh, and the enchantment was broken.
2. She climbed down on the far side. When her feet touched the ground, the building which she had come from, the path and its railings, and the pavilion all vanished.
3. The multi-winged creature positioned itself so that she could climb down the railing and directly onto its back.
4. Reaching the top of the railing, she felt compelled to jump, though whether there was anything solid beneath her to land on she did not know.
