Interruptions!

Belboz almost feels like cackling madly in delight as the unicorn takes on a glazed look and begins to meekly trot over to Hannah (to place it's head in her lap....supposedly).

"Yes! Now....." the necromancer begins, when the unicorn and the young girl who'd been a knight out to slay the mage's best friend and most powerful of allies.....VANISHES!

In their place stands a woman with sown shut lips and sigils on her head that are an afront to the heavens above!

"Demoness....." Belboz whispers in silent horror as the evil creature smiles up from the crystal ball.

Randal Flagg, having assumed this female form in order to better tempt this rather unusual mage, smiles as he places the unicorn and girl child in stasis for later....pleasure. The spell is a rather quick one and will only last for something like a few months....not that this business at hand will take long.

Just another little building block to bigger and better things. If this went well, then he could use the toys he'd placed back on that other world to play out his machinations....or just to have a bit of fun at their expense! The nine year old and her old self.....the red heads.....would be especially fine to watch!

Flagg blinks at a thought. Maybe if he plays it right, he can use the girl that just got whisked away and use her to make a son he'd always wanted (that chick back on that one Earth was acting rather.....odd.....ever since that one night with him in the desert......). Why not double up against bad luck?! (Author's Note: read "The Stand" for what Flagg's talking about...... I'm not telling what he did. As for a background for what happens next is found in episode 7721, if you are interested).

Meanwhile, Belboz is waiting impatiently for the demoness to stop her sales pitch so he can answer. The offer is ludicrous, for he has all he needs with the book of magic he's found.... an Atlantian Artifact of Power called the Necronomicon! The mage isn't foolish enough to refuse instantly, for the demoness was powerful enough to bypass his wards. No, let her say her piece, then let her down gently (and hope that it doesn't turn ugly).

The demoness, smiling s soft smile as she offered the mage great power, if he'd only sign....suddenly has this terrible pain in her throat. The demons reaches up....or tries to.....when the rest of it's body finally gets the idea that the angel's sword swipe was supposed to do....and the demon/demoness known as RF in some circles drops to the floor. The mage takes one look at the glaring foursome who are gathered around the dead demoness.....and pisses himself before running for the hills!

"This is the one I uncovered via the paper trail he left behind......by ignoring the proper channels," the head of Evil chuckles. "I'd have given it a promotions.....if he'd not tried to cut out the Organization......cut me out of the action."

"Yes, that would be a shame," the female angel (the form worn for today) says in a snide voice. "Knock it off youse guys," the Chaos agent says, chains and leather straps flapping as it shakes it's head. "This is the biggest thing that's eva come down da pike...and ifn we screw around we're....hah....going to not exist to regret it!"

They vanish, leaving the room empty.

1. Belboz, meanwhile, is running down the tunnels in a blind panic when his panic flight brings him to the lair of his friend, the Dragon of the Southern Caverns!
