"As a matter of fact I haven't. King Fred has sent me to summon the pair of you to breakfast."

"I'm ready for it. I could eat a horse. But I shall need some clothes first."

"I'm sorry, Princess, but the king is leaving his curse in place for the time being. [94302] He still doesn't feel that he can fully trust you, and he doesn't want you having any hiding place for a concealed weapon. He says that you're used to nudity, so it shouldn't be a big problem for you."

"Oh he does, does he?"

Astra would have said quite a lot more, but Belboz interrupted her. "I don't think that we should keep Fred waiting any more than can be avoided. We don't want to make him angry."

Astra sighed. "I suppose not. Very well. Please turn your backs."

With that, she got out of the bath and commenced drying herself, rejecting Belboz's and Wendel's offers of help. Then, with as much dignity as she could muster, she walked with them to the main dining hall where they would have breakfast (and which was where she and Belboz had had dinner the evening before).

1. Fred was waiting for them. She supposed that the staff who waited at table would also get to see her.
2. She was horrified to see that practically every occupant of the castle seemed to be be breakfasting in the main dining hall. (Perhaps Fred had unbanished the courtiers.) [94050]
