Fred decided that he was just hearing things and picked up the diamond. "You're going to regret this!" said the diamond. "I'm a very powerful artifact! I could put a curse on you!"

"Shut up!" said Fred.

"What?" said Velus. "I didn't say anything."

"I wasn't talking to you! Uh...never mind," said Fred.

The diamond was struggling to get out of Fred's hand. "Put me down!" it said. "Put me down or I'll transport you to the North Pole." Fred ignored it, and walked on.

"Okay, that's it!" said the diamond. A large ray of light came out of it, and Fred and Velus disappeared! They found themselves in...

1. A desert island.
2. A spaceship.
3. A jungle.
4. Another dragon's caves.
5. A Star Trek convention.
6. The North Pole. Or rather, the Frozen Wastes of the North
