He knew that, if the dargon seemed frightening now, it could become deadly if annoyed. "Thank you, that's very kind of you. I'll have a pint of ale, if that's all right."

  1. "The same for me, please," Astra said.
  2. "I'll have a double Hespanian brandy, please," Astra said.
  3. But Astra had never met a dargon before, and seemed to have been so startled that she had lost her tongue.
