Invisible Woman

"WHAT?" said Fred, startled. "Why not let me cut the chains off?"

"Because," said Astra, "I'm invisible, so you wouldn't be able to see me. You might cut off my arm or something. And anyway, Jarlath won't be distracted anymore, because my body isn't visible anymore."

Although Fred was humiliated, he had to admit she was right. So he allowed Jarlath to set her free. He said the proper magic spell, and soon she had fallen out of her shackles. "So where do you think we should go now?" asked Astra.

"Actually," said Fred, "I have no idea. My map is rather inaccurate. I'm hopelessly lost." Inwardly, he cringed. He was making quite a fool of himself in front of this woman, and probably seemed utterly useless to her.

"There are three tunnels out of this room," said Jarlath, "one to the right, one to the left, and one to the center. We'll just have to pick one out at random."
